Sorry, I do not know what this is caused by. Normally setting the
interface in openvcpd.conf should be enough. Maybe the logfile shows any
relevant information (concerning libpcap)? Please set logging to "DEBUG"
and send us the output.

you have to create a symlink to an existing image. OpenVCP will use the
image that this link points to for vserver that are in rescue mode (the
orginal data of the vserver will be moved to a subdirectory).
( cd /vservers/images; ln -s someimage rescue )
